The charger incorporates many innovative technologies that help to achieve up to 94% efficiency while keeping the internal temperature below 50℃.

The charger is capable of charging multiple types of chemical batteries, and charge parameters can be set according to the battery's specific requirements. The LCD displays battery data and monitors the total charging process.

Features

The Battery Charger C6050 is an advanced charging solution specifically designed for photovoltaic systems. It features remote control charge current and automatic charging functionality.

Intelligent control of output voltage and current is achieved through a microprocessor that undergoes 100% calibration before delivery for ±1% accuracy in voltage and current.

AC 90-265V worldwide operation eliminates the need for any alternative switcher, ensuring safe and reliable operation worldwide. The charger's low power consumption, less than 1W in idle and standby mode, further enhances its efficiency.

The charger has up to 94% conversion efficiency. As work as SMPS, It offers programmable output voltage from 12V to 55V and programmable output current from 1A to 55A. The TFT color LCD displays real-time output voltage, current, power, and internal temperature.

Safety features include overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection on the output, making the charger safer and more reliable.

Operation

  1. Connect the charger to 110/220V AC socket
  2. Connect battery to the charger, confirm the connect polarity correct.
  3. Check voltage reading on LCD, confirm it is near battery real voltage, if difference over 2V, please check battery connection.
  4. Turn round Knob, choose battery type
  5. Set charge parameters, including Cell count, Charge current, End current, End voltage, and so on.
  6. Press Knob button for 3 seconds, charge start to charge,
  7. At any time, press Knob button again, stop charging.
  8. When fully charged, DONE will be displayed and beeper sounds for 10 seconds.

COM1: connect to Chargery BMS, the charge current will be controlled by BMS when any cell voltage reach OVP.

COM2: connect to external device. The charge current can be controlled by remote signal. The signal should be 1KHz 5V or 3.3V square wave.

Q8. How to deal with the faulty?

A: Firstly, Our products are produced in strict quality control system and the defective rate will be less than 0.2%.

Secondly, during the guarantee period, we will send new lights with new order for small quantity. For defective batch products, we will repair them and resend them to you or we can discuss the solution including re-call according to real situation.

Q9. Why the voltage and current reading on LCD is not accurate?

A: voltage and current are calibrated before ship, otherwise the charger don't work, so please check the output wire connection, when distance between the SMPS and your device is a problem, please lengthen AC cable NOT lengthen DC cable (output cable). the 1 meter (10AWG) output cable length is suggested, over 1 meter, will affect voltage and current accuracy especially at 60A 1500W.

Q10. Why don't charge my battery?

A: if battery voltage reading on LCD under setting, or the battery is over discharged, or cell count setting wrong, or battery connection loosing, the charger don't charge. so check battery connection, first confirm voltage reading on LCD is near real battery voltage, if not the charger don't charge, if yes, please set charge parameters and then start to charge.

Q11. Can the charger communicate with other brand BMS?

A: yes, there is a control port on the charger, for details please contact us.

Q12. how to prevent any cell over charged during charging?

A1: Fit with BMS, BMS cut off charging by disconnecting charging circuit, such as disconnect DCC, relay, SSR. Battery switcher.

A2: fit with Chargery BMS, BMS control charging current till zero. Don't cut off charging repeatly, and save DCC, relay, SSR, any switcher.

Q13. Can the charger work alone without BMS?

A: yes, but the battery maybe over charged.

Q14. Can the charger monitor each cell voltage?

A: No, the charger monitor total battery voltage and charging current, cannot monitor each cell voltage, so wihtout BMS or other protection board, the battery is unsafe during charging.

Q15. Can the charger be controlled by external device?

A: yes, external device can control charging current even cut off charging. it is only for A version.

Q16. Is the charger compatible with Plug and Play functionality?

A:yes, if you set "Auto charge" to ON during charging and charge for more than 1 minute, the charger will remember the settings. The next time you connect the battery to the charger, it will automatically charge using the previous settings. This mode is called AUTO charge mode, which works like a normal or general charger.

The charger and power supply with high power and high efficiency utilize ZVS/ZCS and Synchronous Rectification to achieve 94% high efficiency. The MCU controls the output voltage and current, allowing all charging parameters to be programmed.

The BMS has high accuracy and measures cell voltage, charge and discharge current, and battery temperature using 12-bit or 16-bit ADC.

Chargery BMS and Charger communicate with each other, eliminating the need for cutting off charging through Open DCC or relay. This feature saves charging time and extends battery life, without the need to install DCC or relay to cut off charging when any cell reaches its highest voltage.
